Sharol
I am Sharol Wells, I am a Certified Addiction Specialist and I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. For the past 25 years, I have dedicated myself to helping others empower themselves to be the best version of themselves.
I am a facilitator of many groups such as; Anger Management, Women’s Empowerment and Life Skills, just to name a few. I am also a motivational/inspirational speaker. Walking the journey with others towards self-improvement is always at the top of my list of goals. Reaching back and offering a helping hand to others is my life’s mission.
I believe my calling is to help individuals get their lives moving in a healthy direction. I am a daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and a good friend, but most of all I am a survivor of the ups and downs of life.

Debbie
My priorities in life have been God, family and friends. My passion is nurturing young people in their personal, educational and professional development. I believe that education is an important game changer that directly affects the opportunity gap for young people, especially minorities and those from disadvantaged areas. Growing up, I witnessed the women in my family struggle with the challenges associated with finances and relationships. My life’s plan was to become an “independent” professional woman. The path to this plan started in junior high school with leadership roles in the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC). Throughout my career, I was promoted to various management roles. I also excelled academically in higher education with an associate, bachelor’s and two Master’s degrees, my MBA and Information Technology Management. My accomplishments include being honored as “Person of the Year”, “Distinguished Alumni” and “Woman of Distinction”. Ultimately, I feel blessed that I can embrace my passion, while giving back to the community.

Pam
My name is Pamela L. Hinton, I am a wife, daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend to a group of incredible human beings. I am a California native with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I was a preschool director for 25 yrs. By helping families raise their children and by mentoring hundreds of teachers, is where I found my love of helping others. I am currently an Account Manager at a property development company.
I give 100% of myself to my family and my friends and I’m still learning how to fit self-care into my extremely busy life. Through my life experiences, I developed a stronger relationship with God. People have always described me as a strong, creative, resourceful and loving individual. I relate to pain, insecurities, fear and helplessness. I am a work in progress. My goal is to help people realize that they can still elevate others as they continue to work on themselves. Giving of oneself is one of the greatest gifts you can give not only to others but to yourself.

Testimonials
“I have always been a firm believer that the sum your life experiences consist of both negative and positive occurrences. It’s your choice to choose the one to embrace. You see; family is my life source. The connections, interactions, gathering, vacation trips and the spiritual bond has always been the dynamics of my family bond. It gave me the mental clarity of the purpose of family and I was content with that knowledge. Then the Pandemic hit. Like a tsunami wave of negative energy; my life became a new normal and fighting to maintain a positive attitude was challenging to say the least. Then like a ray of sunshine, the ‘Grapevine Connection’, was presented via zoom and I was rejuvenated with a positive sense of connection again. The workshop presented a safe space for me to interact and communicate with other women that were not my family. In lieu of that, it allowed me to communicate my thoughts associated with some of my past experiences that contributed to my mental and spiritual growth. It was a comfort zone for me. The highlight of my experiences was helping others to learn from my experiences and me to learn from theirs. This is a needed venue for women and I’m looking forward to others.”

The “Grapevine Connection” has been a series of group discussions consisting of subjects that affect women. I received an invitation to attend and I am so glad I accepted. Whether just listening, asking questions or actually giving my input, I was able to glean information, knowledge and a kinship from what these women wholeheartedly shared. I am thankful they accepted the invitation.
